Sunday Sermons from OCF Church

God is the Healer of Inside-Out

PASTOR ARJUNA CHIGULURI - March 19, 2017. Pastor Arjuna brings an excellent message on Naaman the Syrian and Elisha the prophet of Israel from 2 Kings 5:1-19. (Other scriptures referenced include 1 Kings 22:24, Hebrews 5:7-8, and Luke 4:27.)
Although Naaman was a Syrian, not an Israelite, God took special interest in him, bringing the death of King Ahab through Naaman. Why? And what can we learn from this passage? Why does God want to heal Naaman of leprosy (and pride)?

Pastor Arjuna looks at 1) the cause, 2) the suggestion, 3) the action required, and 4) the cure. We learn much about pride and humility in this passage, and we are reminded that God will reach us - sometimes through extreme circumstances.
