Welcome

Our ministry focus is simple.  We want to help you to passionately pursue the most important things in life. What are these things? According to Jesus, they‘re relationships. That’s why our mission at OCF is to passionately pursue God, healthy relationships, and people who don't know Jesus.

We do this through practical Bible teaching, contemporary worship and creating a host of opportunities for significant and supportive
relationships.  As a church family, we are learning the responsibilities and the exciting privileges that come with being a part of God's family.  So whether you’re a child, a teenager, an adult, single or married, we invite you to join us as we pursue the most important things in life together.

Men's Study: The Book of James with Francis Chan

True faith produces fruit. A faith without action and without life change is ultimately a dead faith. The book of James speaks to the realities of a living faith in Jesus—the kind of roll-up-your-sleeves and get-your-hands-dirty discipleship that is borne out of an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. James writes to believers who know suffering, who've faced trials, and who ultimately desire a deep relationship with God.

Through 12 sessions we'll work through James verse-by-verse, challenging ourselves to move beyond a private, intellectual knowledge of God and His Word, to a vibrant faith that impacts every square inch of life. We hope to see you at 6am on Thursday mornings! For more information, please contact Pastor Carlos (carlos@ocfchurch.com).

Pastor John Hutchison will be teaching an adult education class that will explore important Old Testament background behind stories of the kings in our present sermon series. How did false religions like Baal worship get such a foothold among the people of Israel & Judah? What role do the prophets have in their influence over kings and people? You will gain a greater appreciation for the last 17 books of the Old Testament, and how these stories of prophets fit into the OT story.
This will be an opportunity for you to learn background to our sermon series, to ask questions and discuss issues that have puzzled you about the OT story and how all of this applies to Christian life. Invest just FOUR weeks in this class—April 8, 15, 22, & 29 during our 9:30am service. If you cannot make it every week, that’s OK . . . just come when you can. In order to help determine seating, please sign up at the information counter or online today.
